They didn't tighten mine down enough. Got about 30 miles down the road and noticed that the truck would veere sharply to the left everytime I hit the brakes. Got out and could spin the nut by hand. Needless to say I called them and gave them an earful. Could have killed someone...

Hi Michelle, it was a couple of years ago at Maguirers in Ithaca NY. They replaced the upper control arms on my 2008 Silverado 1500 which was still under warranty at the time. They only finger tightened the two bolts that attach the upper control arm to the frame. A few miles down the road the arm slid all the way to the top of the adjustment slots in the frame tabs. The truck started handling poorly and I got out to inspect when I discovered what happened. I correctly tightened the bolts down and had to take it back to the dealership for a re-alignment.

It hard to trust people there is always some one trying to rip you off. That's why there's a lot of people doing as much work on there vechicles as they can and some times you have to take it to a garage. Hope they fix your truck right man.

ups that they bring in to the shop to get fixed correctly. Some people shouldn't touch a wrench and the jackass that did the op's alignment is one of them.
