U-bolt thread size

Does anyone know what size and pitch the u-bolts on the rear axle are. I need to buy nuts to put my traction bar brackets on. Thanks!

I tried a 5/8-11 and that's not it. Dealer said they are M16x2.0. Guess I will give that a try.

They are 9/16 coarse IIRC. I just replaced mine. I ordered 9/16 and got fine thread, which is OK since I got nuts and washers with it.

Oh yeah, mine is an 01, so there were some mix and match U.S. and metric. later models may be different. YMMV

Traction Bars

Here they are. The brackets are 1/4" plate steel, the bars are 1 3/4" .250 wall DOM tubing, the ends are 3/4" thru hole heims joints.
