traction bars!!

ok guys, ive got a set of adjustable traction bars on my truck that i made myself.... the problem im having which is getting really annoying is that my passenger side bar keeps coming loose.. i will tighten bar until it puts some decent pressure on the axle, then tighten the nut down really tight.. in a couple of days the bar is kinda loose but the nut is still really tight..
anyone had this problem before? im about to adjust it where i want it and tack weld it.. but that kinda defeats the purpose of having adjustable bars.. im trying to upload pics of the bars i hav.. looking for some input..thanks guys
and i also have retarded lift blocks in the back
