I went with longer shocks in the rear too. I talked with nick at norcal truck and he set me up with the right stuff. I highly recommend to get the bilstein 5100s. The ride is so much better once i put them on. Before i had the yellow and blue bilsteins...ride was much better than stock, but not near as nice as the 5100s.

the ONLY thing the Cognito UCA's do is give you more down travel when your bars are cranked or key'd.

you can run a 33 with your bars tuned up and not need the UCA's unless you are looking for max down travel, in case you are making lots of sweet jumps or something.

just give your bars a few cranks and drive it. you would be much better off spending your money on a better (longer) shock than a UCA kit.

the CV angle is what you need to be concerned about, not if you hit a bump stop on full down travel.

Call me if you need some help. I really hate to see so many people confused about this.

Cognito or NOT you are still going to fatigue your front end parts if you do not level properly.
I don't know about all that... true the CV angle is what’s most important however arms or not they can still be taxed beyond its design parameter.

all largers tires wear the front end out faster then stock t-bars cranks or not.

The ball joint angle is fixed with the aftermarket arms as well.

What’s your beef with the arms? Don’t get as deep a discount as Nick or what? A good part is a good part.

to the OP get the shocks if your spending the money cus the stockers are junk when it rolls off the line in MI!

Yes there are alot of positive reasons to look at the Cognito packages for leveling. In the end your suspension will be better and stronger for this type of height you are looking for. Every part has it's direct reason of being part of our packages.

Yes x2 on the kit being DITer friendly with common tools and a couple other tools that are not as common can be obtained easy most of the time.

Here is a video to check out by another member from a Dmax forum that did his in the garage, might help:

You can add a rear block to gain alittle lift to get that end stance of rack back. This is common if what you are looking for.
