Steering stabilizer

Does anyone know if a steering stabilizer would help with a truck that follows grooves in the road?

Or what does a steering stabilizer help with?

Thanks

It might a little.... I bet replacing the pitman and idler arms would solve the problem they will cause wandering if worn

did you check your wheel bearing? easy to check...jack the front tires off the ground and try to rock the tire at 12 and 6....if there is movement, that bearing is bad.

Also, with the alignment...they were able to get it within specs and not just close right? I know if caster is off a little it will cause wandering.

The bad wheel bearing was replaced. I am not sure about the alignment. As far as I know it was good. How does a person check the Idler and Pitman Arm? Its really bad when brakes are applied

A stab. will help but you want to make sure that is something added after every other part is looked at because you may hide the true problem. If everything is solid then it will not heart to add a stab. or replace the OE on your truck.
