really its simply but you need the torsion bar unloading tool which is about $100+ to unload torsion bar the shock extenders are easy unbolt and rebolt. i might be cheaper to go to the shop and let them do it, only cost me $100 , but dont forget to get the front end aligned after leveling kit is put on
what kind of shops would do it? i live in a small town and there aren't and 4wheel drive shops or anything like that. would an alignment shop do it?

all stock for now except mbrp exhaust.
I have the ready lift on mine, which is pretty much the same as the truxx. It raised the front end up pretty level, but i think sometime in the future i am going to go with the conginto level kit instead.
whats the difference between the two of them that would make you want to switch?

same here i live in a small town i had to go out of town to a truck supply shop to get mine done but i think you can go to the dealer and get it done but if it voids the warranty i would take to the ford or dodge dealer they should be able to do it.

If your asking about the Cognito leveling kit, it's one of a kind of how they leveling the front end on a GM IFS. "Keys" just stretch out the ride height and not adding travel. Ride gets worse since now you are riding close to over extending front end travel spec's (truck tops out faster). Cognito adds travel to off set this issue let allow it cures other pron problems as well.

I had the Truxx on my 2000 Chevy 6.0. The ride was a little stiff, I also installed the shock extenders with it. It cleared my 315s with no fender trimming though. I just installed the cognito A Arm kit on my 05 GMC Duramax with their keys and put bilstiens all the way around. It rides better than stock with 315 BFG KM2s. I had to put two inch blocks under the rear end because it picked it up so much. The cognito kit is quality stuff.
