Truxxx leveling kit??

Anybody used a trux leveling? Just went to get a quote for a set of wheel/tire package and the shop was selling the truxxx.I have seen the ads in the mags but haven't seen them in past leveling kits discussions.

Typical sells pitch and they are giving me a pretty good discount if I do it all at once. But is it worth it?

I have the ready lift on mine, which is pretty much the same as the truxx. It raised the front end up pretty level, but i think sometime in the future i am going to go with the conginto level kit instead.

i just installed the trucks kit on mine over the weekend...wasnt hard to do, and it still rides pretty good... but the instructions are a little vague as far as the torsion bar keys go.

I have the TRUXX kit on mine, and I have no issues with it. IMO it sets it up right where it should have been from GM. Install only took me a few hours, and is a very straight forward setup. The most difficult part was unbolting the rear to put the lift blocks in. I had a weak air gun and lots of mud. (It was spring time) Anyway, it looks much better, clears my 285's with no trimming, and rides very close to stock.

Most of the time you don't need "keys" to get your truck level. Before you spend your money on keys do alittle research and you might find it is a product that you might not need to achieve what you are looking for. This thread has info on it:

really its simply but you need the torsion bar unloading tool which is about $100+ to unload torsion bar the shock extenders are easy unbolt and rebolt. i might be cheaper to go to the shop and let them do it, only cost me $100 , but dont forget to get the front end aligned after leveling kit is put on
