Shock Question

What is the difference between the bilstien 5100 part numbers f4 be5 d146 h1 and f4 be5 d146 h0. Need to know pretty quick, I am going to be installing my leveling keys and want to make sure that I have the right shocks.

Finally got it all figured out. I guess bilstien as the manufacture says that both shock numbers are interchangable and the shocks are similar. Well as it turns out they are not. The bilstien 5100 f4 be5 d146 h1 are for a stock height truck, and the bilstien 5100 f4 be5 d146 h0 are for a leveled truck. I am glad that I have been their research team and have found this out for them after 2 weeks and a few sets of wrong shocks. So if anyone plans on leveling thier truck and getting bilstiens, make sure that the shock number ends in h0 and not h1.

I do not plan on putting blocks in the rear, so I went with stock height bilstiens which I think were about a half inch longer than the stockers I had. If you don't lift the rear, there is no need to buy longer shocks for the rear.

are you sure that you have the right info concerning the H0 and H1 specs? the Bilstein page shows that the H1's are for our trucks that have been leveled...Am I reading this wrong?

His info was not correct, the difference was a bushing change Bilstein made to improve bushing life. Other than the bushing the shock was the same.
