06 Duramax Lift Kits

Hi Guys im new to this site and new to a 06 Duramax SLT and i have a few questions??? Im looking to get a 8" FabTech lift with 37 Mikey Tompson MTZ on 17"x10 Amercia Eagle 1372 rims. First off if i could ask will these rims fit a 8 lug pattern? because i cant seem to find out if they come in 8 lug pattern? and if so will a 10 inch wide rim with 8 inch lift be wide enough to look good with bushwaker fender flars? also im useing a bullydog triple dog downloader....if someone can help me with this it be awsome thanks

I would recommend to look deeper into what other options of lifts are out on the market. Fabtech is not in my top 10 of what I would use on my own truck. Lack of simple features leave you with very little upgrades to make the IFS last long. 8 out or 10 failures of the GM IFS suspension is not the lift it self it is the OEM components that fail due to design of the lift kit and it's lack of offsetting the larger tire and wheel package.

Thanks for your reply nick. well i really dunno what to go with really then lol. i have 10,000$ to spare on a lift and tires. here in alberta the cost of a 6" lift with rims and tires is about 7,000 with the fabtech lift. what would you reccomend? i want an 8" lift but a few months back when i priced a lift it was 7,000. if u know something better i could set up then my ears are open thanks again

Check this link out on a Cognito lift. They make a ton of upgrade options that can be tailored to each end user.

try running with a cst lift or maybe even a rize industries kit and IMHO stay away from the mickey thompsons theyre a loud tire and wear really easily go with a bfg all terrain or if your looking for an aggressive tire go with a toyo mudd terrain
