OK - I have used the Jake Brake on larger trucks and have found them to be priceless for stopping. I understand the exhaust brake is different from the jake brake. What kind of installation are we talking about i.e., some knowledge backyard or professional mechanic? Also, what kind of money are we talking?

The installation isnt a difficult one. There is some wirign to do. We also have to cut out about 4" of exhaust. In a driveway it will take the average shadetree mechanic about 6 hours. I will PM a price for you.

There is two answers to that question. There is a salespersons answer where you are protected by the Magnusson Moss Warranty act which states a dealer can not void your warranty simply becuase an aftermarket product is on the vehicle. They have to prove that the aftermarket parts caused the failure. Now all it takes is the dealer to say you have no warranty and you have to fight them on it. So it really is going to depend on the dealer.
