| Hey bassnspear I'm in the same area, I just have my grille cover on. Helps alot on short trip so it can actually warm up.. And should I take it off when towing? I pulled a 18ft fishhouse on a 3hr drive one Way.. Temp reached a little over 180 or so, is that okay? Sent from my iPhone using AutoGuide.com Free App

| Husker Diesel Pimp ![]() | Basically when the temp is below freezing its a good idea to put the winter cover on. Its up to you if you want the bumper and grill PR just the grill cover. Its not 100% necessary, the truck will run fine and still get reasonably warm without it. But it will help to warm the truck up faster and it'll run warmer. And it'll also stay warm a little longer after you shut it off too. On my lmm it made a huge difference, on the lb7 now it barely makes any difference at all, but I still use it anyway. X2 The grill cover goes on as soon as the daily temp max is below freezing for a week solid and it comes off as soon as the days go above freezing again. I find it makes a big difference on how fast the truck heats up and keeping it at temp on the highway when the weather is frigid cold out. Never bothered with the bumper cover even if it hits -40C (same as -40F, that's where the scales cross over )
