Stock trailer hitch towing capacity?

Does anyone know the towing capacity of the factory hitch? Can this be upgraded with after market suppliers?

IIRC it 10k but becarful not to overload it with toung weight, they have been known to bend snf break when pushed to extreem limits!

According to the sticker on my hitch, 7500 lbs with 1000 lb toung weight and 12000 lbs with weight distrobution and 1500 lbs toung weight there. According to my sticker, it is a V-5 Talon. The sticker is right above the trailer plug. I don't see a problem with 10,000 lbs as long as the trailer doesn't have a lot of toung weight. Maybe the newer ones are rated for more. I believe the only way to upgrade the hitch is to replace it with another brand.
