2007 gmc sle 6.6

I just bought a 07 with IBC it will not work with my trailer any thoughts the output just shows ----- no mater what the setting are on the brakes worked fine with my 05 with aftermarket brake controller

I have read some articles which indicate that the IBC will not work with trailer brake systems which are electric over hydraulic. If that is the case then you may be out of luck. Otherwise, it sounds like a trip to the dealer would be the next option. You might checkout your trailer and see if this is the case and then go from there. Only other thing I can think of to do would be to get your volt/ohm meter and see if you are getting power to the plug.

brakes are just electric no hydraulic there is a vlotage spike when you touch a test light to it and then it goes off this is normal checked another truck at the dealership same results

Boy you got me then. I don't know the first thing about them and I didn't order one in my 7.5. I have always liked the Prodigy and didn't see any need to change. I was just repeating what I had read on other sites about the IBC and the hydraulics. I would campout on the dealers door though till he told me what the problem was. Good luck with it and let us know aht the deal was. Might save someone else some misery.
