with the stock tires i would recommend runnin 55PSI in the fronts and 45PSI in the rears when the truck is empty but when loaded with anything over 5 to 6K #'s i would increase the rears to 60PSI to 70PSI and the fronts, rarely you need more then 65PSI up front even with a load..the best rule to follow except when loaded,if the center of the tread is wearing more then the shoulders drop the air down a little but if the tires are wearing more on the shoulders(outside tread)air up a bit..

Tire psi sensor

My truck won't stop putting the tire light on in the dash and its getting really annoying. It has 18'' wheels with 35'' tires, just wondering if anyone else is haveing proplems with that.

Assuming the pressures of these tires fall within the parameters of the stock tires...then follow on

In theory, when you refill the tires to the proper setting, the light should go off – although this can take up to 30 minutes of driving to reset. If it doesn’t reset, there are three methods to turn off the warning light. One involves using a manufacturer’s computer scan tool. The other two methods don’t involve any special tools. Using the exterior lamp switch, turn the ignition switch on with the engine off. Then cycle the exterior lamp switch from off to parking lamps three times in five seconds. The final method uses the radio and is a bit more complicated. Turn the ignition switch to on, and turn the radio off. Press and hold the “DISP” button until settings are displayed. Then press the “SEEK” up or down arrow until “TIRE MON” is displayed. Press “PREV” or “NEXT” to enter the submenu. “RESET” will be displayed. Now press the “DISP” button. A chime will sound and “DONE” will be displayed. If all this doesn’t work, then there might actually be something wrong with the system.
