Exhaust upgrade

I have a 07 2500HD classic diesel and would like to upgrade the exhaust system, what kind is the best and will it increase my fuel mileage any. also will it void my warranty to change the exhaust. and is there anything else I can do besides a programmer to increase mileage

the exhaust isn't really gonna change your mileage at all...if anything make it worse becuase you foot will get heavier

as far as which one they are all good...depends on what ya like... some vendors here have some good deals on kits

or you could also straight pipe your stock exhaust.

cat back will have no effect on warranty but down pipe back they might try to give you a hard time

An exhaust system and a programmer will definitely help out mileage. The stock exhaust is very restrictive due to the muffler and cat. Opening it up with a 4" system will help the engine breathe. The programmer will give you the biggest bang for the buck, PPE or Edge are two that I recommend most. Let me know if I can help with anything.

rather than a straight pipe i went for rumble and deep rich tone and kept 3.5 stainless form factory put on a 304 ss 4 inch in and out with ss adapters welded and added 304 4.5 tip this keeps it legal in the muffler required states and sounds great!! run 90 hp hypertech tune and it's conservative! would run an edge with attitude or efi live if i did it over ... find a programmer on craigslist somebodys always changing going for more power!! argh argh argh!! have pics of muffler posted it needs to be wiped off but it's visible for idea stock muffler has three 180 turns before exit!

I have an 05 duramax. I added and Edge Juice with Attitude a K+N air filter system and a 4" Corsa Exhaust system from the manifold back. I saw improvement in mileage with the Edge, but no increase withthe air or exhaust. Although, lots of extra power.
