Question about snow chains 35" tires

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but who else has had any experience with putting chains on 35" tires? I have a set of 20" wheels with 35" Toyo tires and I need to make a trip down I-5 from Seattle to Ontario, CA. On my way I will need to pass through the Siskiyou Mountain Pass which sometimes requires chains. I will also be pulling a 44' gooseneck trailer.

Just looking for some good advice. Thanks

I took a set of semi chains and cut them down to fit my 35"x12.5"x16.5" BFG's. You have to cut about 6 to 8 inches off but they worked great! I also did this for a set of 33's too. I prefer the cam lock style over the p-wag chains! Just make sure you have them tight, I drive about 100' and check them again then do it again after you been on the road a little bit. And always have a chain tension cables on or bungee cords if thats all you have over the face of the rim! The tension will pull the chains off the tire and towards the outside of the truck if they do break, and not to the inside where you will tear up your brake lines, steering and just have a complete mess!

Ps. I run a snow plow in the winter for our City Public Works!
