Ok guys, I have an 06 3500 CC Dually. I loaded it a few minutes ago with my gooseneck (7140 lbs) and a sammy (3k lbs?) and my jeep (4980 lbs). Question is, how would you load the crawlers? Heavier in the rear? that is how I have it now, but I am not getting a warm fuzzy. Here are some pics as best as I can get them.
Truck does not seem to be squatting that much at all. Also the goose just seems like it may not be level. I know I am just being paranoid probably because this will be the heaviest and farthest towing with this truck so far. The book says max trailer weight is 12k, but I am thinking that is for a bumper pull...I have just over 15k total
see my sig...you should have no probs....load looks good

I agree with the load you have the trailer should carry the weight all you have to do is pull it (no problem). No use in making the truck carry all the weight when the trailer can (nice trailer) just as long as you have toung (goose neck) weight, you don't want it trying to lift the truck (BAD NEWS).
Looks good.

with the way you have it loaded i'm sure it will be fine, the entire weight of the sammie is tongue weight and almost half of major weight of the jeep is in front of the front axle, with the truck stance looking the way it does i'd say that's a text book perfect load (don't worry about the load rating it's way under rated, it's all about what you feel comfortable with, within reason of course) i wouldn't worry about that one a bit
Good Luck

60% of the load on the rear axles of the truck and 40% on the trailer axles.
Why would you want 60% of the load on the rear axle of your truck??? I think the way the trailer is loaded in the pic's looks good and will handle fine going down the road. But, Would'nt loading the jeeps backwards on the trailer put more weight on the axles of the trailer, Since the front of the jeeps is were the weight is? Hence reducing the weight on the truck axles. It would seem you would have more then enough down pressure on your truck to avoid any lifting issues. I would think it should be more like 70% trailer- 30% truck. Please Explain how I am wrong in my thinking.

IMO the pics look pretty good. Id make sure the rear of the truck squats about 2-3in so if you catch rain the rear end doesnt get loose and hydroplain or loose traction some other way...
Also whos sammy? A friend of mine is really into them he has 3 or 4 now. Ones real nice almost like a show truck. Lockers all way around and transfercase gears. Some sort of jeep spring lift. That thing goes anywhere!!
