Wildturkey hunter is correct. Kennedy Diesel does carry the finger stick and Egr plate for around $50.

You already have what you need to kill the diagnostic that is popping the code.

Doesn't your predator have a feature to disable the EGR diagnostic? Mine did. It also eliminated/prevented the code you have. This remedy has been around for 2 years, cutting wires is no way to solve this.

Thanks Killer Bee for the suggestion. I did not see the EGR diagnostic option in the predator. I will check it out tomorrow.

Yep, mine went at about 15,000 miles. Warrenty covered the replacement. GM says they got a bad batch from a vendor, but have since switched vendors.

If EGR causes a surging problem, then unplugging it should verify it in short order.

I will assume you mean EGR stepper motors, IIRC.
