I'm sold on the Prodigy with DVD instructional video and extra harness.

Unfortunately, Southwest Wheels refuses to ship via USPS, so I'm looking for another reputable dealer.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Whatever you do, do NOT buy the one Autozone sells. I paid $80 for their brake controller and it is the roughest thing around. I have it set on a 35 out of 100 and it is slow to get to 35 and when it does get there it brakes hard, but 30 is too soft. When you let off, as if taking off from a stop light, it is also rather rough. Not impressed at all. Not sure of the brand, but it's whatever Autozone sells.

Override factory brake controller?

I have a prodigy from my last truck and really did like it. My question is...is it wise to override the factory controller on my 2007 Silverroda with the prodigy? And, do you think that the prodigy is better that the factory controller?

If you have the factory controller i would stick with it. They are supposed to be alot better than any of the aftermarket ones and work with the abs system.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Yep, that's what I'm getting.
Can you recommend a reputable on-line dealer?

Once you decide which set up you are going for and have it installed. Remember to set the amount of trailor breaks used while on loose gravel. The trailor breaks should not lockup before you stop.
