So I'm new to this truck and diesels as well. We have a 30ft enclosed vendor trailer and I would like tips, pros, cons, to towing it through the mountains of West Virginia and towing know general.
Any mods or things I should look into to make things run smoother and safer. This is our livelihood so what to make sure we are in tip top shape.
Thank you
besides the normal towing stuff like tongue weight and tire pressure. id recommend doing a pcv re-route (to help keep IC & turbo clean) and possibly a intake (help keep egt's down) but it really depends on how far you want to go.
Need to know what mods are done to the truck already, if any. If its stock, I'd say leave it alone until something happens, then start the mods. Also, that little tow/haul button on the shifter, USE IT!! Safe travels...
