Lucas transmission fix?

Is it ok to put lucas transmission fix in a 5 speed allison? My truck jerks when downshifting from 2nd to 1st, but only when its cold from sitting over nite, it stops by the second or third stop sign.
Thanks

I bet it also won't go from 4-5 when it's cold either...

It's supposed to, it's trying to warm itself up quicker.

Lucas sucks, in any form. Let it warm up for 5-10 mins before you take off.

It's called operating temp for a reason - let it get there

I let it run for at least 10 mins every morning.

Letting it sit and idle does nothing for the trans. They all shift like that when they are cold get use to it.

No it won't not in that short of time. The transmission needs a load on it to really get it warmed up. That is why allison built it to not lock the converter until 86*. Even the engine won't get to operating temp until it is under load.

Not the transmission. My engine gauge will move in that time on high idle but the tranny will not. I'm not trying to argue with you but these trucks just don't work that way. Maybe yours warms up faster because it's a built tranny.
