Lousy EFI tuning= bad shifting

Just like the topic says. Could lousy EFI tuning cause erratic/ lousy shifting? It especially shifts very erratic at lower speeds. (in town driving) it does hiccup some when I boot it in the ass at higher speeds. This all seemed to happen right after I got some new tunes a few months ago.

A local guy did... yeah it was a bad idea looking back on it now, thats why I have tunes being built by Idaho Rob right now.... But could bad tuning cause shifting issues?

Hmmmm, Im hoping thats all it is is bad tuning. I'm sure if it is, when I get my new tunes from ATP, it will shift better. If not, I'm not gonna be too happy if I have transmission issues already with 5000 miles on the rebuild.

It is bad tuning. I played with mine a little here and there and a couple tunes I screwed with the wrong stuff. It made my transmission very unhappy.

Well, if you're right, which I hope, and assume you are, having been through it, then that is good news. Thanks
