Transmission won't go in gear after Trans Go Jr Install

Just finished up last night on the install of a Trans Go Jr. install following instructions I found on here. Filled with fluid and went to start. I tried to put in gear after starting and it won't come out of park! I also had the batteries disconnected for three days. The truck is an 08 LMM. Any ideas would be appreciated before I pull the pan back off and drain the golden Transynd out

Well get a nice clean bucket to drain the fluid into cause that pan IS coming off again. When you say it wont come out of park do you mean you put it in drive and it doesnt move or can you literally not pull it out of park?

I would say you didnt get the manual valve pin engaged into the inside detent lever slot correctly. Also be sure that the valve body is torqued precisely to 9ft lb or you can risk warping it and having the other valves lock up in there bores causing more headaches....or simply the shift cable got smashed and is binding up.

You have missed the shift pin in the shift valve--or the wrong place--

Most common problem-- if it does not go into gear.

Shift lever doesn't move, gear indicator lights up, and as long as I use a hospital clean drain would you guys recommend reusing fluid?

I did the exact same thing. My shifter wouldn't move. Took the pan back off and I didn't get the shift pin back in the valve body correct. Simple fix. Good luck.
