Torque Converter Acting Wierd

I had my transmission built and Goerend torque converter installed approximately a month ago and it has been driving fine until this past week. I didn't notice anything at first, but accelerating slowly my Edge Insight shows me the torque converter is locked, but I knew it wasn't based on rpm and after a few seconds it threw a CEL and I read the code p0700 (I know that doesn't tell you anything, but I don't have anything to read TCM). Then paying more attention to the way the truck was shifting, it shifts perfect just when the torque converter locks up there isn't a slight jerk like there used to be and I knew when she was locked up. Then just today I was cruising around at 60mph, the Edge telling me the TC was locked, I'd let off the gas pedal for a second and the Edge would tell me the TC would unlock, press the gas for a second and it shows locked, let off and unlocks...
Has anybody encountered this before?
Any ideas where I should start looking?
Thanks

Had the TCM scanned today and had a P0741-- Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off. Can anybody offer any advise?

Time to have a Tech 2 hooked up to it and start diagnosing.

That's what I did today. Had a tech 2 hooked up and it just had the P0741-- Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off. When the guy was going through the list I believe solenoid A and B were off and solenoid C was on.

When hooked up to the Tech 2 what should I be looking at and recording to diagnose? Should the truck be started and read? Can I drive around with the Tech 2 hooked up and instantly read how much the torque converter is slipping?

i have a goerend converter as well. worked fine for 5000 mile until today i saw the tranny temp creepin up then it threw the p0741 code. i stopped checked the fluid which was fine and reset the codes. drove another 10 miles and hte tranny temp was at 250 and it threw the p0741 and a p0762. i believe we got a couple bad converters. did u find the problem yet?

Not yet I haven't, I haven't had the time with work. I never noticed my temps get that high, the most I saw was 165ish, but it is around 32 right now. It would creep up to 165 and then just start dropping. Mine just doesn't seem to want to lock and stay locked until I hammer down on it. I can accelerate at a slower pace all the way to 90mph and take my foot off the gas and it shows on the edge the converter is unlocking, but if I floor it for a second it'll lock and stay locked when I take my foot off the gas. But if I then slow down to where the torque converter should unlock and then reaccelerate it won't stay locked again.

Thanks for the update, I really appreciate it. What tool do you have to scan a V2 or autocal?
