Exclamation Violent shifts after transgo jr install

Just had my transgo done yesterday, picked it up last night and started my relearn process. It did its normal clunks and bangs like my last truck did. Shifts got better throughout the relearn but after 3/4 pulls I did just a normal acceleration and my 2-3 shift was super violent. It would wind up like 500rpm and bang so hard into gear the tires would churp. Same with 4-5 shifts. But the 4-5 shifts got better. Put about 120 miles on lastnight with no improvement. What could this be?

The check balls in the trim valves are not seated.--

Did you use some vaseoline to hold the parts together -- like the instructions say-??

Bet you started to twist your C2 hub/ P2 planet splines. I would never have driven it that long with this problem.

I only drove it probably 5-10 miles with it really smashing into gear with the 2-3 4-5 shifts. He to me to check fluid disconnect the battery's as try the relearn again. Should I do that or just have it towed back to the shop? I ain't trying to break anything or make the situation worse.

Your builder has no clue what he is talking about. Make him tow it back. You either have a check ball out of place or a jammed trim valve. If you don't watch him he will probably lie to you and blame it on something else.

It's getting towed there tonight and he is gunna break it down And see what went wrong. He's a good guy I ain't worried about him blaming it on anything. Shit happens. Most importantly he's gunna fix it no questions asked. Thanks a bunch for your info very helpful.
