NSBU Switch. Check your connections on the trans. If not a new switch should fix it.

Sounds like a loose connection-- check the trans-- and the TCM-- located at the fan shroud. A good scan tool will point right to the problem-- as it shows data.

@JohnnyBarkerIII, under normal circumstances this is something that would be covered under the Powertrain warranty since it seems to have something to do with your transmission. You’ll want to get the vehicle into the dealership for diagnosis. At this time they’ll be able to provide you with the warranty coverage.

took it to dealer today they think its pointing to a bad TCM they "say" they are told they have to triple check everything before they can get one sent because its such a major module i guess take that for what its worth either way this is the third time its been in the shop for more than a week kinda crazy for a $60,000 truck with 28k miles thankgod for a warranty

Please, keep me in the loop with the progress of your truck, JohnnyBarkerIII. Have you been provided with a loaner until your truck is done?

Actually no and we have never even been offered any help with getting a loaner truck,or any kind of loaner. Two of the three times this truck has gone in it has put us in a tight spot shipping our horses and have had to make some sort of provisions to get horse shipped or to get them where ever they're going and i'm not going to bash gm or the truck but for $60,000 i cant understand why this thing has been in the shop as many times as it has not to mention the fact that the dealer ship Del chevy paoli PA always seems to be backed up and cant look at our truck or their diesel mech. is not working and to take it to another dealership would be a major inconvenience and a long road trip. As of day before thanksgiving the part was not shipped so we wont be fixed at earliest late monday or Tues.

Michelle, I really appreciate your concern and you following up on this
