up grading a transmision

my truck is a 06 crew short box, i would like to make around 500-600 hp & was wondering how much i would need to beef up the tranny, i know it will need a torque converter, wondering if u guys could shoot me some ideas the help is really apapprieciated

id suggest some upgraded clutches Atleast c1,c2 and c3s and a shim for the pump

Just curious why you didn't mention any of the other essentials needed. That's all bud. C-1 thru c-3 and a pump shim is far from the needed parts IMO

Actually i have been wondering basically the same thing he asked at the begining. although i was thinking like 700+ hp range. It will be a daily driver i do everything in. I dont own one yet. I intend to buy a new lml hopefully shortly after the new body styles come out. Just what would that entail and how much on average would such a trans cost begining to end? Will tow alot as well as wanna play in it from time to time. Just curious what im looking at needing? and can you define what the c's are? c1 c2 ect. Im really a newb to all of this but at least i know what i want in the long run.

C's are diffrent clutch packs and a typicsl build will be 4-5k depending on options and builder
