| A few questions.. Well guys I'm gonna be getting my trans built here real soon. And I bought another Allison from my friend so I don't have down time on my pickup. The trans I bought is out of an 03 dmax and my pickup is an 05 anything I will really have to change? Or are they the same? And I am going with the ppe stage 5 trans. Any opinions on that? Or is it just personal preference? Also I am in need of a fly wheel. What do you guys suggest I get? I'm thinkin a so cal diesel. Any answers and opinions are appreciated! Pax

| I know the 03 is a 5-speed. Wasn't the 05 a 6-speed?

| No sir 06 was first year for 6 speeds. I just heard there's something different in the valve body. From the 03 to 05 five speed alli

| Won't work without finagling From my understanding you have to swap front housings and the the threads for the fittings are a different size. Valve bodies and harness is different too. | Looks like more work then it's worth. Anybody wanna swap for an 05 trans? The 03 only has 92k on it. Never been limped. That's what I was told.
