A few questions..

Well guys I'm gonna be getting my trans built here real soon. And I bought another Allison from my friend so I don't have down time on my pickup. The trans I bought is out of an 03 dmax and my pickup is an 05 anything I will really have to change? Or are they the same? And I am going with the ppe stage 5 trans. Any opinions on that? Or is it just personal preference? Also I am in need of a fly wheel. What do you guys suggest I get? I'm thinkin a so cal diesel. Any answers and opinions are appreciated!

I know the 03 is a 5-speed. Wasn't the 05 a 6-speed?

Won't work without finagling

From my understanding you have to swap front housings and the the threads for the fittings are a different size.

Valve bodies and harness is different too.

There's a thread around here somewhere on it IIRC

BINGO here it is...

Looks like more work then it's worth. Anybody wanna swap for an 05 trans? The 03 only has 92k on it. Never been limped. That's what I was told.
