so is this just for the 6-speeds or is there one for the 5-speeds too
The Jr is mainly for 6 speeds. The Full Transgo Kit is for 5 speeds. The full Transgo Kit comes in the big kits you buy stage 3 & 4 if you have a 5 speed.

So is there any downside to doing the JR kit on my LMM.. I mean I see its not that expensive so clearly I should do it. I am a daily driver and perhaps once a week do I get into it to smoke someone but thats it. I baby the truck really really well and want this thing to drive for over a 100,000 miles. I Know I sort of killed myself with the chip but I deff. don't abuse it. And would have no problem putting it back to stock if it was going to kill the longevity of the truck..
Opions and imput?? Just how long can I plan on this truck lasting with minimul use, almost never a trailer and a plow here and there for my driveway and business parking lot. No Lift, Not bigger tires..
In the end will this TG JR kit help the long run and not become an issue later.?

With the use you just described, I don't see any downside at all. I see upside if you only get into smoking Mustangs once or twice a month the Transgo Jr should help extend the life of your clutches. If you get into smoking cars more often then you will start running the risk of slipping clutches or the TC depending on how much power your running. When people buy the big stage 3 & 4 kits the Transgo JR is included in those kits to help with the package. It would be a good inexpensive mod.

Hoping to put this in my truck this weekend. Any special tools that I might need. I have my good torque wrench for install but anything other than normal hand tools.
Is there a good all inclusive write up somewhere to use. Did not see anything in the DIY forum.

I installed the Transgo Jr. last month & it's a "must have" mod.
Do your homework & use the search buttons. There are several write-ups on here & DP forum but you have to piece it together. If you search all the write-ups you can get by. Maybe if I get time I will try to put together a more complete install write-up with torques, etc.
If I were to do it again, I would buy the Allison O/H Manual because the Transgo Jr, instructions suck. It's written to only be a supplement because they assume you are a Trans Shop with the Allison Manuals.
