allison fluid choice

Has anyone ever used lucas semi-synthetic atf. I have a 2006 lbz and need to change trans oil any help would be appreciated

I would recommend getting a hold of Big Daddy Diesel and ask him about their Torque Drive- I WOULD NOT recommend Lucas. Lucas products tend to foam....

I use Transynd. Its Allison recommend.

I would recommend Transynd, Schaeffers, or Amsoil

I personally have used Torque Drive (The same as Transynd ) which is a full synthetic fluid and have never had a mechanical failure hauling more than most people would even attempt. I have also never overheated the tranny or even got it above 200*

just put torque drive in my truck today witch is a lbz and let me tell u what...its AWSOME stuff and temp stays down for sure and shits great with a new spin on filter....try it out form a vender on this sight

IMHO, you can;t get any closer other than the fact that most people pay a good bit more for Transynd than Torque Drive.
