Need List: CP3!!!!
Wish List: Transparts iv, Lift pump, Turbo upgrade.
The C1 apply plate does not fit the C1 piston properly ( it does not sit flush on the piston ) and will cause the clutches to drag on one side.
C4 has way too much play and needs a thicker steel to achieve proper clearance. Most people doing this upgrade never check clutch clearance; they install the parts straight out of the box. Not a good idea.
Since I don't sell these kits I'm not stepping on any toes here.
This problems is being resolved right now and all the kits that are ordered from today on will have this fix.
Ouch! I ordered one a stage 4 for a 6spd awhile back and ordered one for my g/fs 5spd truck last week!! So now what? Do I need to make sure the clearances on c1-c4 are at factory specs before installing the trans? Going to pass the word on to my builder so he knows to keep a eye out!

He's not much of a builder if he didn't catch the problem.
