You got to look at it this way...a LLY has about 310 hp....lbz has 360. You add 100 hp to it and you add nearly 200 lb/ft of torque....something has to give. You wonder why your local tranny shop sees those guys and not the dealer? If it was truely a problem with the tranny, guys would be going to the dealer and not a tranny shop in most cases.
I guess it's like anything else OB...A few people have a problem and right away the whole product is "junk" while the guy next door has the same vehicle for 200k trouble-free miles.

You slipped 5th gear, watch stepping on the throttle when the conveter is locked in 5th and you shouldnt have trouble. when the conveter is locked in 5th the line pressure drops in the trans and cant incresase in time.

Like it has been stated before, people come on this site(and others)when they have a problem. so unfortunatly we hear a majority more complaints than we do cudo's. But that is what we are here for is to help the few that have problems Me, I'm one of the people that have OVER 200,000 miles on their truck and have only had one problem (still) and that is my fprv. SO I am VERY happy with my truck.
