PPE Level 4 Tranny?

i justed tuned my lmm with the ppe stadard and i also enabled the tranny relearn and when i gas it, it feels like the transmission is slipping and not catching the next gear??? any way to fix this problem or prevent this??? will this mess up my tranny???

humm sounds weird , try reloading it and doing a relearn again, if that dont work i would really reduce the power.

That is the tranny learning. Do some city driving where it can shift threw all of the gears easy before getting on it harder. Start out taking off easy and when it shifts good like that step it up a little.

Some say that level 4 and up might be too much for a stock tranny (most likely true), but I also am running on this level for sometime now w/ no tranny mods. So far so good, but I try to avoid boosted launch. Give your tranny sometime to relearn and put it on fast learn mode. When I'm relearning my tranny I drive aggresively and try to run it at different types of roads.

also your truck has a defueling feature so that could be part of what your feeling.

yes it there to protect your tranny,what it does is it cuts engine power so an unmodified tranny can shift without destroying it and then after the shift the power returns,the longer you drive it the less noticable it will be.

for any people with the same truck n programmer with successful results! what settings and what features should i enable? i also was wondering i have a dpf back 5" mbpr and the programmer set on level 4 and my mpg has not went up at all any suggestions?? should i look into getting an colds air intake with all the power??

That is to force a regen cycle. If you feel you DPF is clogging you can force a regen istead of waiting on the truck to do it.
