my buddie just came to my house he has an 06 lbz, he said he was going around 80 in extreme with the bullydog not floored or anything and the truck kinda jerked and was stuck in fourth and wouldnt shift up or down no matter how slow he went..we shut the truck off and unplugged the chip and turned it back on, we took it for a test drive and it ran fine/ what could have caused this?!

That was a good ole Tranny Limp. P0700 and P0735 should be stored in the ECM and TCM. That was the way mine was limped the first time, but i was running Crazy larry. He needs to turn the power down or it will do it again. Each time it limps the easier it will be the next time.

speaking of limped trannys, when mine went there was no warning what so ever, never went into limp mod once. jus bang, dead at a turnin lite in morning rush hour at -35 weather explain that one. on here i read about guys limping there on here daily

Well it is bad, but the tranny might last a long time still if he will take care of it. Now that it has limped the clutches will have some burnt places that won't let it hold as much. If he will back the power down to level 2 or 1 he should have no problem for a good while, but if he continues to run it hard on extreme he had better be saving for a rebuild.
