not to sound like an ass but did you install it in the right direction??? mine works great. look at the arows I think they point to the turbo waste gate if it is in right look for holes in the inter cooler line by the power steering hose mine runs about 28 with valve at no tune and 32+ with by biggest tune

mine works great too. make sure you check the hose clamps on all the piping. from the turbo to the intercooler there could be a leak somewhere.

why did you get the boost valve when you have the banks wastegate, you know you can adjust the banks wastgate to get more boost. just a thought.

and to answer the first question i dont think you will get much more boost than stock without some kind of aftermarket tuning.

i just noticed that leterpour has a turbo x boost controller. maybe that needs to be adjusted. i thought that anything over 32psi is not safe unless you do more work to your motor and trans

over 32 is fine on the engine and trans but it will kill the stock turbo

I dont see any aftermarket performance tuning so you will not see an increase in boost.

However if you do have tuning and only see 20pis is it installed the right way?? The arrow needs to point towards the wastegate.

And if that is right is your gauge tapped into the wastegate line?? If so is it in front of or after the boost valve??

Also what is this Turbo XS boost controller and why did you get a boost valve if you already have a manual boost controller??

the stock turbo can survive 35psi on our trucks. The motor can handle about 40-42ish before it needs studs.

Because adjusting the banks big head wastegate to get more boost can change the rate at which the wastegate opens and can cause surging, thee is not as much of a risk with the ppe.

Mine jumps over 32 sometimes goes to 34 for a second. This is on a 90hp setting is this hurting my turbo?
