72mm VVT

Who is all running a 72mm VVT?

I am having one done here locally for me with a billett wheel. Out of a 4094 frame...

Just want to hear what your thoughts are towing, drag racing, sled pulling, etc.

Also please note if stock motor, stock sticks, stock pump, or if you have pump, sticks/ nozzles, etc

Thanks guys!

Hoping to get a 2.6 cover for it

Sheesh so sounds like not too many people I guess...

Hopefully I hear more input.

Did you get your black truck back together with that turbo on there or are you swapping all of your stuff to the white one now?

Ive got danvilles on stock motor with stock sticks. I use it for a DD everyday and have towed with it once with no problems. Just have to watch EGT'S while towing and got to get some headstuds real soon. But its a really awesome turbo.

Yes I am gonna run stock sticks. In the spring late winter I'll have nozzles honed for 40-45% over stock. So we can back the fuel down.

What are you running blackcloud or is it Jason? I don't remember.
Stick wise and pump wise? You have a 4094 right?

Should be dropping the truck off Wed for trans do get done.

We ordered a billett wheel for it and going to send the housing to be machined. No one really does their own VVT stuff out west so we are giving it a shot. Hoping to do some pullin, and drag racing in 13!

I am glad to hear that! I hope we can keep egt's somewhat in check while towing. I originally just wanted a billett 68 wheel in a 4094 or a stock LBZ turbo but I got a call saying we're doing it in a 4094 and he ready ordered the stuff. I said um okay I guess lol. I guess the shaft is larger in a 4094 versus the PowerMax stage one as we were looking to just do a 72 mm wheel in a stage one power max since we are just changing the compressor wheel. I was wait g to hear back on that today. Bug as far as I know we are doing a 4094 frame and 72 mm billett wheel

I did this off my phone so not that good of grammar etc.
