I was thinking about getting a new turbo for the lb7. Would it be better not to get a turbo and just save up for twins. Or upgrade to bigger single turbo

Its kinda just my play truck. Little drag racing. Just want to try to put up some bigger hp numbers. Its my daily driver but also but I also have a company truck I drive to and from work. Like to get into drag racing more. Plust I would like to make a few cars in town look stupid.

I say save for twins that will help with faster spool. I don't know how hard it is too build boost off a launch with a stick but with twins they would lite right away compared too a single big one that might take more to lite. Just my .02

I would do a bigger single first. The HTT 66 SS seems to be a great turbo. It's rebuildable and can be configured a few different ways. It also works very well as the small turbo for compounds. Any variation of the S300 will do, though.

well after my expensive trial and error experiences, they all have their pros and cons.
it really depends on what your looking to get out of it. singles work well and the bigger you go the better it gets. i liked my ak5 but i started to tow more so i needed something that would work in that rpm range better so i went with the twins.
like i said it really depends on what you want to do.
Twin are some to really consider, i will have another set when i get a new truck
