I'm trying to get away from VGT. I wouldnt buy anything Garrett anyway. Rebuilds cost almost as much as the turbo. The S300s can be rebuilt for about 300-500 bucks. The HTT wheel size is changeable. I think you can get them with up to a 74mm wheel

i have a buddy who might be willin to let me buy his 71mm cheetah setup but i had heard maybe some problems from those like impellers exploding under high boost? i may be able to get it reasonable.

No way. I wouldn't recommend this turbo to anyone. It only likes high rpms. I know a guy with one on his right now and he cant get out of the low 13s. Its junk. Seriously.
