not with the trusty makita saber saw and some beers.
Normally you are correct, but he will most likely still have the remainder of his exhaust mounted behind the cat, which will make it a PITA to get the cat out. Between that and the fact that the truck sits so darned low, its going to be a bit of a project. Plan on using jack stands.

Dont worry about getting the cat out. I had to remove my exhaust hanger on the rear of the tranny but then it came out smooth. Trust me do not try it with out removing the bracket, I learned the hard way.

Just out of curiosity what are the benefits of going from a cat back to a turbo back exhaust.

Ya What he said! The cat is more restrictive than the muffler so if yuo remove that your'll get more sound, power, and your EGT's will drop.

Well...I never really worry about doing work to my truck. My uncle has been a diesel mechanic (along with being able to fix anything else with wheels) his whole life. And he has a lift so we can walk under the truck. And I've established, that when most people need tools, his hands are so thick from working so much, he calls me a wuss and rips things apart with his bare hands. But on that note, I still never got a PM from ANYONE. Should I look at a local shop????
