My father in law needs a replacement tank for his 1996 E-450 PowerStroke Panel Truck. The tank is a 55 gallon unit. He only has 2 trucks for his business and with one down, he is losing major money. Cost is of little concern, he needs it overnighted, can anyone help?!
Figures that I can only find a tank for a ford that goes back to 1999.

Thanks, I had checked them out before, no luck. I had found him one at TransferFlow.com but he didnt want that one, it was a 46, not a 55. So now, he is SOL, gonna have to wait til next week. I cant find a 55 gallon tank for a 1996 Ford E-450.
can you check the specs dimensions on his current tank and see what the ones are on newer ones or you already try that

Hey Tyler, he is going to have the dealer check that tomorrow but the few places I called today told me the mold is different on the tanks and they are not interchangeable. I have trouble understanding why a tank for an F-450 wont fit an E-450. Tanks for the F series are all over the internet!! But a 55 gallon tank is close to $1200 !!! Thats without the sending unit!!
I was calling every vendor I could think of who may have had it but, no such luck.
