I have the MBRP cool duals on my truck I have it strait piped and it is loud. I am sure no mader what kit you get if you strait pipe it it will be just as loud. I like the MBRP kit it is very nice. Get with 4X4 Fantasy he is a great guy to deal with and will give you a great price.

You have a number of options to go with, and three metal types to choose from. I carry exhaust from Silverline, Corsa, Magnaflow, MBRP, DiamondEye, Banks, BD Diesel and BullyDog. I would strongly suggest your visiting each manufacturers site to listen to an audio file (if they have one) of what it will sound like. Then I can further assist you on the right metal type for your needs. There is aluminum (cheap), 409 Stainless Steel (low rusting, more expensive) and 304 Stainless Steel (the best you can get, never rusts through).
I have the 5" aluminized and live in IN, and they salt heavy, and the only rust i have is the hangers, main factor is how long do you keep your truck, if 5 years or less i would do alum.

No matter what brand, go straight pipe or maybe just a large diameter straight through muffler. Loose the Cat and stock muffler for sure. I had straight and it was a bit loud on trips so I put a small round straight through muffler on and it gave it a real nice tone and took the worst away. I love the sound!
