well, i now have some spare cash on hand so i was wondering if anyone new of some good buys for a full turbo back straightpipe kit in the 4" range and a decent egt sensor and gauge? the cat and muffler are a must go

what is the difference inbetween the silverline 304 and the 409 besides prices?

Since you have a 04 you shouldn't need the "fingerstick" but the EGR block plate is a good idea. The 304 and 409 SS kits are two different grades of SS, but i can't remember which one is the better one.

the type of metal used determines the number assigned. Both are stainless steel, but the 304 is MORE resistant to rusting out than the 409. Which is also why 304 is, im some cases, almost 2x as much as the 409. A 304 system will outlast both your truck AND you!

like mike said 304 last long, but it will also get brittle over time, if wanting ss do 409.
