| CAT from an '06 LBZ
Anyone still have their old downpipe with converter? I wanna try something.

| If you guys still have your converters- look at your local recyclers- they will pay good money for them. They extract the platinum content. I know this is true -we have sold many and cashed in on money we had laying around!!

| Where are you from. I am keeping my cat incase they start to test trucks in CA and I need to put it back on to past a test then rip it back off.

I am going to hollow out the CAT and slide it over the aftermarket exhaust. That way when the SMOG tester uses his "mirror on a stick" to see if there is a CAT, I should past the visual test.

| psyco66, if I can remember correctly when the smog commies start doing diesels it's for everything under 8560 lbs. Our trucks are 9200+ lbs. I've talked to a couple smog techs and that is what they said about weight, so 3/4,1 tons are exempt. But you know how Cali Liberals change their minds all the time. | |
