Keep getting logged out???

Why does it keep loggin me out even if I select "remember me"?
After a few minutes I'll go to a thread and it'll say I'm not logged in and i have to re sign in, very annoying. This doesn't happen on any other forum I'm on and this format seems to be the same vbulletin as many others.
This happens a lot when opening a new thread in a new tab (using IE7).
Any ideas?

Ya I agree Id go into the computer internet settings and clear the history and delete the cookies/ internet files. Then restart your comp.

I remember a long time ago people where having a bunch of problems when the site updated. They had to do that to get it working properly.

If that doesn't work, I can tell you from first hand experience (I'm a network admin, have been for 6 1/2 years) that IE 7 sux....everything about it sux...and it doesn't work properly with anything. I know there are some people out there that have NO issues and will call me a liar. But I work with roughly 1,200 computers every day...and the majority have issues. If I were you, I'd go to Mozilla | Firefox web browser & Thunderbird email client and download Mozilla Firefox and use that browser. It was built to revolve around Linux, Ubuntu, MAC, and Windows....so it was very well thought out. If it still does it, then you need a wipe out. Plus Firefox does everything IE 7 does and more. I don't even use IE 7 anymore.

This is the only forum it has done that on. Every time I come to this site I have to log in, not like the others where it remembers you from the cookie file.
No biggy really.

I have the same problem. I get logged out every few minutes. This is the only forum that does that too me, I have cookies enabled, I have restarted my system, I use Firefox and not Internet Exploder, and I am an IT Net admin as well. Still can't figure out why this site logs me out constantly.....The only thing left to do is to reload my computer, which I am about to do anyways....

And it's really annoying. I just spent 5 mins typing a response to a thread only to hit the submit button and have it tell me I am not logged in. (I was logged merely minutes before) I log in and it takes me to the home page, all my typing gone! And by the way, in case anyone is reading this and really cares that there is an issue with this particular board, it does it on my laptop and home pc. This is THE ONLY forum it happens on. I am on several others and this never happens.
Yes I have ie7 and everything is latest release, all cookies are enabled, and I always check the box "remember me" Guess it's got a short memory!
I'm not whining guys, just figured you'd wanna know.
