I have two buddies that had the coopers M/T's and they both said they were the worst tires they have had. They seem to have short tread life and are loud. They also are about as expensive as the Toyo M/T's and BFG M/T's. If I were you I would check out those first before buying. I have Toyo's and love them. Good Luck!

i hate to say this but DO NOT go under a LR D with a DIESEL equipped truck, you do not have enough tire strenght for that heavy of a truck with a LR C..most 285's come in LR D only but in a 265 i wouldn't run anything under a LR E if you tow but if the truck runs empty for the most part and tows 5,000-6,000LBS at best the LR D's will work but not recommended..
the older Cooper MT's aren't a very good tire but the new STT has been a great tire for most people and has rated realy high in most online ratings..

I always stick up for my Bridgestones so here goes: Got 265 Bridgestone revo's. Been great for me. I've got 40k out of them, with some pretty hard abuse, towing, and lots of gravel road time, and in town driving, along with the highway miles. I should get about another 10k out of them before I buy another set. The main reason I like them is for their winter handling. They are AWESOME in snow!! I can push snow with the bumper in 2wd. Thats the main reason I got em. So I can haul a truckload of goose decoys, blinds, buddys and dog out into a muddy snowy field and not have to worry bout getting stuck. They also do great in rain, I've NEVER had a problem hydroplaining. They've worn pretty good too considering how loose my front end is!! And they're still just as quiet now after 40k as they were new. I don't play in the mud much anymore, but they've never let me down when I've needed to go through some serious muck. Now their not a MT they're AT, but they do ok in mud too. And they look pretty bad ass I think. And they have the white lettering which I like too.
I had a set on a lifted grand cherokee i had. deff a m/t. they wore good, considering the abuse i put them through and were pretty quiet for as aggressive as they were. i would recommend them.good prices too!
