| 285/70/17's on H2's rubbing like hell! HELP! My last Duramax truck had 285/75/16" on stock wheels, I cranked the torsion bars up & it was good - looked great.
So I decided to put a set of wheels & tires on my truck, decided on a set of H2 wheels. They were used so I put a brand new set of tires on them, I put a set of 285/70/17" on the H2 wheels - the BFG Armor pro tires with the kevlar, good looking tire.
They rub like hell! I have my torsion bars all the way up & out one full turn like I did with my last truck - but these rub like hell! Rub the bumper cover real bad!
Problem is, when i measure how tall the front is vs. the back, the front is only 1 inch lower than the rear - if I buy leveling keys is that 1 inch going to even make a difference? My last truck was a chevy, is the GMC front bumper lower that it hits the tire more? Do I just take a wizz wheel & cut the front bumper?
Love the look of the tires & ride hight & don't want to go to a smaller tire - Help!!!!!
