Is this a good tire/wheel combo???

Guys,
Here is what my brother has decided on buying for his 06 DMax. I helped him with the details, but want to make sure we are making a good choice.

I just wanted to double check with you all.

-N/T Grapplers (not sure what size) 275/65/20 or 285/55/20 ?????
-20" Motometal MO951

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Can I have all honest opinions on this setup please?
He does not have a lift. Will he need one? Will he be ok to just crank the t-bars?

285 is probably as big as you'll get in there...and that will require either a lift, leveling kit, or cranking the T bars and doing some trimming......

And for the look...the wheels are nice...but like I told everyone else....I hate how they put MOTO METAL in the ugliest font right on the front of the wheel.....but that's just how I am....I don't like companies that "brand" everything.....

Thanks for the honest feedback guys, REALLY appreciate it.

His truck is the light tan/silver color.

Blackdeath: your truck (and this one) was his inspiration in getting these. We live in Alma, AR, small town. I don't believe we've seen anything similar to these. He really likes them, and the price.

He is running 285/75/16 right now.
Should he get the 285/55/20 ????? Thoughts???

I think those wheels look awesome! Those wheels are on alot of trucks but there not on any in my area. I think both those tires will fit as well. Just ask the place your buying the wheels and tires!

Check out these as well. I have Gear Alloy Wheels - American Tire Distributors and really like them! Check this site out to see how they look on your truck! Wheel Envizio

I have seen an outfit up here with those wheels, or similar. I don't remember the color of the rig, but I do remember it looked pretty good.
