I just put new wheels and tires on my 08 Z71. The company I ordered from told me on the 18" wheel/tire combo I wanted, I had to have a positive offset (between +12 and +18). The tires are 33x12.5x18 Toyo MT's. With a leveling kit, there still is some rubbing on the plastic that I hope to do something about this weekend.

I think 12.50 width is equal to 295 or 305, so that's pushing it with just a level kit. I'm planning to install Cognito UCAs, steering upgrades, and maybe the green torsion keys. I would like to run 295s or 305s on 17x9 wheels. I seem to recall readings somewhere that backspace should be 4.5 or 4.75. The KMC wheels I'm looking at come either with 4.5" bs and -12 offset, or 5" bs and zero offest. So I'm trying to figure out if one of those will work. Can you post some photos of your truck with the 18" wheels?
I will try again. I think I have to change the resolution on the camera to get down to size in order to post. I'll try today.

Maybe the attachment will come through. I will also try to post a pic with signature.

Those look great! Love the look all around of your truck. What did the level kit consist of? And where is the little bit that rubs? Is it the black part of the front bumper just under the chrome? I had an old explorer that rubbed their with bigger tires that I had to shave off. Again looks good.
I have a listing for all 00-07.5 trucks but It wont copy and past right

Thanks Mike,
It is rubbing on the front and back of the inside wheel well plastic on hard right and left turns, forward or reverse. I am going to look at it closely this weekend and see what I can do.
I don't think the shop here used any particular leveling kit. They put in new torsion keys, not sure which ones, and the Nitro 9000 longer front shocks.

Hey for anyone that cares i just got my RBP wheels and nittos on today (18x10's -25offset) and 325/60/18 terra grapplers and they look awesome I will post pics on 12-18 or 12-19 soon as i get a chance. I had to do some trimming on the high quailty plastic bumper and will have to pull the inner fender well back a little in the rear of the wheel openings only if i go lock-to-lock do they rub. I have the torsion bars turned up. Measurements (front ground-to-top-of-fender is 41.25" back is 41.50. Just a little info.

I have a friend that wants to buy my stock H2 tires 315/70/17 for his 01 Duramax. What will he need to do to get these to fit. His is still sitting totally stock.

crank the bars with keys or not...bang out the inside of the panels on the exterior of the driver and passengers area where the feet would go. (inside the wheelwell towards the rear) also trim the front lower valance maybe and pull the fender trim away from the tires.
