Well, I've done a lot of research on this, and an 8 ply D rating is fine to run, but I wouldn't be towing extremely heavy if I were you. They say the D give you a smoother ride because the tire is less stiff. Some people say E is the only way to go, but the majority of people who run mudders use a load D. Most companies actually don't make a 33 inch tire in load E. BFGoodrich and Firestone are the only two that do that I can think of off the top of my head. And you'll pay like 260+ a tire for BF's. And Firestones are around 240 I think.

Where's TyreboyZ to help me out here????

Well all I can tell you is, those tires can handle up to 65 PSI. So if you load up your truck and the pressure causes the tires to go over 65 PSI....I'd be very careful. Plus if I"m correct, Mudders can't hold as well as other tires due to the fact they are a SOFT rubber. It's not common, but I've heard of people having sidewall blowout while Hwy driving and towing.

If it were me in your situation I would run them. They are alittle low on the weight side for my taste (i did buy a 3/4 ton for a reason). Have you looked at the ATZ's I have seen them on a truck at Merchant automotive and they look real nice. That is my next tire.... Oh and the are rated at 3195lb a tire!!!!!

with a 12000lb trailer you should have around 3000lb on the tongue (25%). It is hard to say. for your safest bet load up your truck and take it to a Cat Scale and see what each axle has on it for load. I do not know how much the rear of the truck weighs!!!!!
