Pics of Dually Tires

I'm trying to decide what size tire to put on my '09 DRW 3500. I plan to level the front end and replace the stock rims, but I do not plan any lift in the rear. I was thinking of 265/70R17's, but would like to get an idea of what the rear end would look like. Anyone on here have a new body style Dually with bigger tires that could post a pic of the rear axle?

I'd like to get an idea of how much (if any) the tires are likely to stick out from under the back fenders.

I was thinking of 17x7 rims; any thoughts about width or brand of rim?

well first off its gonna be extremely hard finding a wider dually wheel then a 6.5"
also if you run the 265's you will want/need to run sacers but if your going bigger and wider do the 285-70R17 right away and make her look realy good..some of my thoughts

Yea..All the wheels on the duallys I have seen are pretty much only 6.5". That's what I have now.

Thanks for the info. I like the look of 2004duramaxLB7's rig, I'll probably start off with 265's; but now you have me thinking about going wider right off the bat. Since the production line is shut down through January, I'll have plenty of time to change my mind a million times before I have to actually pick a tire size.

Nor-Cal; that is a sweet looking rig.

I'm glad you pointed out that dually rims are all the same width before I asked for wider rims at the shop and looked like a complete idiot
